Seriously???

So we took the kids to Mountain Springs Park yesterday, Rylan loves the swings...and well Chloe loves EVERYTHING...I've taken the kids to this park many many many times, and feel as though its always been moderately peaceful, nicely shaded, clean..and large enough for kids to go buck wild! I was stunned as soon as i saw the shape the park was in this time....EVERY trash can was over flowing like they haven't been changed or emptied in a week...not only were they over flowing, but trash was thrown EVERYWHERE! There wasn't even a clean spot on the grass to sit! I feel like someone or something had completely vandalized our favorite park!! I'm not one to complain...but I called the City Immediately! There were tons of kids playing around in this trash....just trying to enjoy their favorites at the park. It was well worth the complaint because the lady on the other side of the phone dispatched someone out right away. She said i was the first person to call and complain, and she had no idea. Maybe she acted quickly because i said i will be sending a picture to the North County Times?! Someone needs to be on constant watch with these parks, our children are playing around this trash and its not right! Come on people, i should not have been the first person to call on the park, there was tons of parents there...someone should have called! Take the initiative! We pay for these parks! And we pay to keep them clean! Here's some photos below...this trash can was one of FIVE around the playground that was totally ravished through!
